San Diego County
Ramona Valley AVA
Previously located in Pamo Valley, we have moved to a lush mountain side location, to Black Canyon Road in Ramona. Situated on 5 acres in a mini balboa park-like setting, with thousands of red geraniums and hundreds of euculyptus trees. Our entry is lined in shamal ash trees as you drive through 3 phases of vineyard. Our winery produces an array of handmade, premium award winning wines including Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese and Petite Sirah all from the Ramona AVA. We have enjoyed exceptional quality harvests.
Phase 1 of our Black Canyon vineyard was planted in June 2008 with varietals including Orange Muscat, Viogner, Primitivo and Cabernet Sauvignon. In July 2010 we doubled in size by adding Phase 2 and 3 planted in Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon. We are pleased to have added Sangiovese to our estate vineyard. In order to sustain our inventory, we also purchase grapes from local, quality growers.
Pamo Valley Winery is a licensed and bonded wholesale winery that markets its limited production wines to restaurants, stores, events and through our wine club. Our wines are produced entirely by hand, "the old fashion way". We produce our wines with locally grown grapes.
We are proud to be members of:
